Come and explore the marvel and unknown of the Mozambican marine world.

Mozambique GSA provides accommodation at some of Mozambique’s most exotic island resorts that offer an abundance of water activities including: diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, fly fishing, jets skiing and much moreContact us to book your Mozambique holiday today and enjoy shore entry diving & snorkelling right in front of your resort at Azura in Benguerra Island.

Most of our Mozambique Island resorts including Bazaruto Lodge and Indigo Bay on Bazaruto Island offer pristine reefs that lie close to shore. These are ideal for divers and snorkellers. Many of the reefs are still unexplored. They offer a profusion of colourful soft corals which are host to some of the most amazing marine life the ocean has to offer. With white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and bright blue skies, a Mozambique holiday is paradise even for non-divers.

The Two Mile reef at the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago is one of the world’s top spots for scuba diving. Non-divers have the option of exploring the inner reef of Two Mile, one of the best snorkelling spots along the coast of Mozambique. Below the waters, there is prolific marine life and beautiful coral gardens. With sites at depths of 12 to 30 metres and visibility of up to 40 metres, divers and snorkelers can expect to see numerous tropical fish including, Angel, Butterfly, Surgeonfish or graceful Moorish Idols.

The bigger species include Whale Sharks (the biggest fish in the world), Dolphins, Hump Back Whales, Sharks, Manta, Spotted Eagle Rays, Green Turtles and Giant Lobster.

Make your Mozambique holiday memorable with a visit to Quirimbas Archipelago which is home to hundreds of endangered Dugong: the strange half mammal, half fish creatures that early sailors thought were mermaids. The shallow crystal clear waters are also home to starfish, anemones, seahorses and an abundance of the famous Mozambique Prawn.

At Mozambique GSA we believe that a great Mozambique holiday is not complete without exploring the reefs, so we are happy to arrange diving lessons for both beginners and intermediates.
