Nestled along Mozambique’s secluded Baixo do Pinda Peninsula, Nuarro Lodge combines sustainability and barefoot elegance with access to some of the region’s most unspoiled reefs.

Diving at Nuarro Lodge

Home to a fully equipped PADI Dive Centre, Nuarro offers over 15 exclusive dive sites ranging from colourful coral gardens and dramatic walls to a local shipwreck. Snorkelling at Nuarro Lodge

Just 100 metres from the beach lies Enupa Reef, part of the Nuarro Marine Reserve. With depths from 4–12 metres, this calm, protected bay is ideal for snorkellers of all ages and teems with marine life — from garden eels and ribbon eels to puffers and reef fish.

WHEN TO GO – THE BEST SEASONS FOR THE OCEAN EXPLORER

  • Best Time: The dry winter months, May–October, offer the calmest seas and best visibility — up to 30 metres in some areas.
  • Marine Life Highlights: Whale sharks and manta rays appear most often October–March, especially around the Bazaruto Archipelago.
  • Water Temperatures: Typically warm year-round (24–29°C), perfect for extended dives and long, lazy snorkels.
