Fresh fish comes from fisherman of the bay daily. Fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs are grown in our veg garden. A selection of bread and several baked goods are home made each day.
Enjoy breakfast choosing from tea, coffee, fresh juices, a selection of fresh fruits, cereals/muesli, milk and yoghurt, home-made jam and ricotta cheese, home-made cakes, muffins and biscuits. Add your favourite a la carte eggs or Italian ‘piadina’ of the day.

ASDUNAS BEACH
asDunas beach is a white sandy wild beach that guests can reach directly from the suites. Guests can enjoy the sea front private beach areas or safely walk on the beach. Swimming and snorkeling in asDunas bay is safe and easy, because it is protected by the Archipelago Islands and coral reefs. The beach areas have shade, beach lounge-chairs and small tables. asDunas staff daily provide beach service.

asDunas spa programme offers complimentary, traditional wellness treatments to restore and revitalize body, mind and soul through their health and relaxation.
asDunas Lodge has been designed to be a spa within itself and wellness activities are on stage in open-air pavilions for massages, meditation, gym and dance.
Pavilions are completely integrated in the wilderness, immersed into the tropical bushy garden, feeling a true symbiosis with nature. We only use natural alcohol and wax-free coconut oil, sourced directly from local traditional producers.

SUNDOWN AT THE ASDUNAS RED DUNES
Every sunset, weather conditional, a romantic aperitif will be served on the top of the panoramic red dunes, easily accessible by foot. Dunes are equipped with safari-chairs and small tables, asDunas staff will provide all services. Climbing the little red dunes, enjoying the wonderful sunset over the bush, sipping an exotic cocktail prepared on site by the barman. It’s just a must do at asDunas Lodge!
VILANCULOS CULTURAL VILLAGE TOUR
A cultural village tour to visit the local central town market, some art & craft shops, art galleries and the famous Capulanas shops. A half-day tour, usually scheduled in the morning, operated by private Safari open vehicle, starting from asDunas Lodge: the local guide will show you the secret highlights of vibrant Vilankulo village!
VILANCULOS ASEM TOUR
ASEM (Association en faveur de l’Enfance Mozambicaine) is a non-profit organization based in Mozambique realizing projects in benefit of orphans, both children and young adults living in situation of vulnerability. ASEM places great emphasis on sustainability and mainly support projects in the following areas: schools and its functioning; basic education, vocational training and advanced training; health, psychological and social support; personal development through sport, art and culture, and social integration; economic self-sufficiency through agriculture.
This half day tour, usually in the afternoon, offers a unique opportunity to know and directly help children in Mozambique.

SUNDOWNERS ON TRADITIONAL DHOW
Weather & sea dependant, a private romantic aperitif on a sunset Dhow Cruise- the traditional African southern-east coast wooden boat – sailing in the bay, enjoying the amazing view of the Bazaruto Archipelago and sipping a delicious tropical cocktail. asDunas staff will provide all services, complete with snacks and still/sparkling water. Around two hours activity at sunset from around 3.30/4pm to 5.30/6pm, depending on the season (USD 160 USD per group 6/8pax).
GOURMET LUNCH ON THE SAND BANK
During low tides, a “once in a lifetime experience” a special private romantic lunch on the sand bank in front of asDunas lodge: only white sand and turquoise sea around, the bank is stylishly equipped for guests comfort and privacy. asDunas staff prepare a delicate gourmet lunch including the famous Mozambican lobsters & king prawns, (special catering on request) and a bottle of wine. A half day activity (from around 11am to 3pm (USD 160 per couple).

ISLANDS MOTOR BOAT TRIP CRUISING & SNORKELING
Local operators organize daily trips to Bazaruto Archipelago Islands (Magaruque, Benguerra, Bazaruto, Santa Carolina) and they can offer both shared or private boat tours. Prices depending on Island’s distance, and number of people, USD 80/120 per person and a private boat trip is USD 250/350 per day. Motor boat activity includes snorkeling equipment, guided tours on Islands, snorkeling activities, fully equipped BBQ lunch on the beach and Park entry fees. Pick up and drop off directly from asDunas Lodge beach.
ISLANDS DHOW TRIP SAILING & SNORKELING
Local operators organize traditional DHOW trips sailing around the Bazaruto Archipelago Islands (Magaruque Island and Benguerra South) and they can offer both shared or private boat tours as well. Prices for shared DHOW trip is USD 80 per person and private DHOW trip is USD 250 per day: includes guided tour and snorkeling activities, fully equipped BBQ lunch on the beach and Park entry fees. Pick up and drop off directly from asDunas Lodge beach.
YOGA
asDunas Wellness & Spa pavilions is available for self practicing yoga / meditation and mats and towels are provided. Private or Group Yoga Sessions are available at the Wellness & Spa asDunas pavilions as well, on the asDunas beach or on your private Safari Suite veranda. Hata Yoga class are between 60-70 minutes and include Yoga Asanas, meditation and breath work. Private lessons are USD 65 per person, group lessons available minimum 3 people USD 35 per person.
BIRD WATCHING
There are many bird watching activities around asDunas Lodge private bush park. For more passionate clients, a local guide offers a bird watching tour between Chigamane coastal area and Chigamane wetlands (north side of Vilanculos, close to asDunas Lodge). Trips are scheduled early in the morning or late afternoon up to sunset. Clients walk around lagoon areas learning about local birds and trees. Guides also offer cultural tours (USD 30 per person).
GOURMET COOKING LESSON (at asDunas lodge / at the Chigamane’s village house)
Should you wish to discover the most famous and delicious Mozambican dishes, some special cooking sessions can be scheduled. According to different requests, client can choose between Mozambican and Italian recipes.
A special Italian cooking lessons is available at asDunas lodge: the chefs will explain how to easily prepare many gourmet fresh pastas and more famous Italian recipes. A special Mozambican session is organized at a local house, discovering how local people prepare and cook typical Mozambican dishes, also participating and tasting. Price is USD 35 per person. All cooking sessions are organized in respect of updated prescriptions and top rules of prevention against pandemic spread. At the end of their stay, guests will take home a small delicious piece of Mozambique to never forget their exclusive experience at asDunas lodge!

Several local operators organize daily trips to the Bazaruto Archipelago Islands for diving, snorkeling and short trekking tours between white dunes and virgin wild forest. All boat trips start from asDunas beach. Payment to be done directly to local operators that usually accept cash (ZAR, USD, euro), Credit Card or PayPal.
